Taiwan Day Two (part 1)

Our second day began with my dad and I searching for breakfast.  I was given very, very strong instructions to NEVER EAT BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL BECAUSE I WILL BE WASTING A MEAL AND WILL SURLY REGRET IT.  So, we went out in search.

Breakfast: Found a couple of street vendors outside Taipei Station.  I tried a little bit of the Fan Tuan, which was really awesome because they made it fresh.  The line was quite long, but it was worth it.  We ordered the DELUXE, which was a mixture of everything, had things like salty fish, veggies, seaweed, crispy dough, and some other japanese spices, pork pieces and some sweet mayo.  [$ 40 NT ]

Then I also found another vendor that sold egg pancakes. yum!  Had a lot of scallions and cabbage, but the dough was delicious and the sauce (I think it was garlic sauce really made the entire dish!!)   [ $ 30 NTs ]

For lunch, while walking around Xin Mendeng, we went to a random restaurant, and ordered some good ol’ pork sauce over rice.
