I volunteered last Saturday with a homeless outreach called, “Don’t Walk By” where we scoured the streets of Harlem searching for those that needed shelter, emotional support, help or just a warm plate of food. They set up base at a local church, send out teams of volunteers that do a few many different things.... no comments  So for a good portion of my days in Rwanda, I’ve was staying in Butare- which is a little further out from Kigali. It was about a 2 hour bus ride It’s basically the “country-side” and the home to the University of Rwanda (NUR). We stayed in a Hostel- which was actually a Nunnery.
